Project Descriptions Major Discipline Client
The project will construct 26 Gas Wells in Haradh and Hawiyah Areas. RTU Data and voice Communication requirements will be provided by Installing the SIEMENS OPEN TRANSPPORT DUAL RING NETWORK. These Gas Wells will be interconnected via Fiber Optic Transmission System (FOTS). Communication work covers the installation of fiber optic backbone cable (12 strands, non-zero dispersion shifted) from Gas Wells, Remote Headers and Gas Manifolds as OTN nodes that compose the FOTS (fiber optic transmission system) in Haradh and Hawiyah areas. The project will upgrade the AL-KHAFJI KGOC/AGOC Offshore Gas Wells control systems for Flow Stations namely Y-1, Y-2, Y-3, Y-4 and at Gathering Stations in the Offshore Control Platform (OCP). The project will provide communication services for approximately 400 people at Hawiyah NGL Recovery Plant (HNRP). The project encompasses the design, Installation, Construction, Configuration, Testing and Commissioning of Permanent Communication of Permanent Communication Facilities. As part of the project, Hawiyah NGL Recovery Plant will be linked to existing Saudi Aramco Corporate Network via Hawiyah Gas Plant and Uthmaniyah Gas Plant existing Communication Facilities using the highly reliable Fiber Optic Cable.
