About Us

Arabian Consulting Engineering Centre (ACEC) is a recognized firm in Saudi Arabia with a wealth of experience in multi-discipline engineering and architectural design.  The organization was founded on 1399/12/1 (Oct. 22, 1979) by Engr. Abdullah Ahmed Bugshan to perform general engineering services in the Kingdom Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries. ACEC’s head office is in Riyadh with branches in Al-Khobar and Jeddah. The Eastern Province Branch has been in collaboration with Stone & Webster Engineering Corporation for many years during the nineties and for a couple of years with ABB Lummus Global.  As of December 2003, an arrangement was developed on project by project basis as well as continuous technical support with the internationally recognized corporation: AKER KVAERNER.  ACEC is an approved General Engineering Services contractor for Saudi Aramco (Contract No. 6400044643/00) and Khafji Joint Operations (Contract No. HQ421ES04). 

The Eastern Province Branch of ACEC specializes in engineering and design services to the oil & gas (on/offshore), chemicals/petrochemicals, refining, power cogeneration, desalination, communications & security and infrastructure sectors, with a staff of over 150 professionals and support personnel in its Al-Khobar office. ACEC has performed and is currently performing significant engineering services for SAUDI ARAMCO, Sabic Companies; (Sadaf, Ibn Sina, Kemya, Ibn Zahr, Petrokemya), Khafji Joint Operations, Saudi Chevron Philips, Bapco, QGPC and several other confidential and private clients.

ACEC has the most diversified and qualified staff In-Kingdom to serve the industrial & infrastructure business sectors and petroleum industry. ACEC worked with International EPC Companies in Europe and the U.S. to perform highly specialized consulting and engineering assignments.  When required, ACEC used the services of specialists,for assignments to its office for specialized process design, in addition to mobilizing top-notch task forces In-Kingdom to assist specific projects.

ACEC is located at the Bugshan Center in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia. This complex is a state-of-the-art 8,000 square-meter office plus parkings with complete high speed Internet/Intranet and other voice/data communications capabilities. Bugshan Center will be able to accommodate ACEC’s engineering and project requirements for the foreseeable future.
